At ESPL, we believe CSR is more than a mandate. Going beyond every facility we manage, we have adopted a host of practices that help us support the communities around us as well as the planet.
In an effort to contribute towards environmental sustainability, we hold environment awareness workshops and events on World Environment Day. ESPL also promotes Urban Green, an initiative where park users adopt plots to grow and take home their own produce of fresh organic vegetables.
In collaboration with The Ugly Indian, an anonymous group of volunteers striving to bring a systemic change in the attitude towards cleanliness, we paint flyovers and motivate citizens towards Swachh Bharat.
Reinforcing our commitment to cleanliness, safety and fundamental facilities, we undertake periodic renovation, repair and maintenance activities, along with regular deep cleaning and infrastructure support at Government School, Challaghatta. To facilitate learning amidst a conducive environment, we periodically revamp the painting of the school.
Underpinning our focus on education, we have envisaged programs to roll out scholarships, mentoring sessions, tuition fee support, laptops and tablets to meritorious students from rural backgrounds and economically weak strata.
Taking a step further, we address the lack of staff in schools, with teachers, assistants and volunteers. We endeavour to bridge the language barrier through English proficiency programs, conducted in association with the International Festival of Language & Culture (IFLC), Drishti and the Institute of Language Management.
